Greenhill alumni excel in countless ways: as scholars, business leaders, public servants, and philanthropists who make a lasting impact wherever they go. Within our remarkable community, there are always a few whose contributions stand out and deserve special recognition. To honor them, the Greenhill Alumni Board proudly presents the Distinguished Alumni Award and the Alumni Service Award each year.

Award Nominations
NOMINATE A WORTHY HORNET ALUMNUS!
Greenhill alumni, you know them well – the friends who give back, who make a difference in their community or industry, who excel in their field. The friends you're proud to say you went to school with. They deserve recognition, and we welcome you to nominate a member of our alumni community for consideration.
Whether you graduated in 2026, 1951, or anywhere in between, we all know fellow Hornets who stand out. Across scholarship, business, public service, and philanthropy, our community is full of remarkable people, and each year, we're honored to celebrate a few of them.
To recognize their contributions, the Greenhill Alumni Board presents the Distinguished Alumni Award and the Alumni Service Award each year.
How the process works:
Nominations are submitted and then reviewed each spring, with recipients announced in the fall. If your nominee isn't selected right away, don't worry – nominations remain active from year to year, and you're welcome to update their packet with new accomplishments at any time.
Because so many worthy individuals are considered each year, only a limited number of recipients can be chosen. To protect the integrity of the process, we ask that you not inform candidates that they've been nominated or are under consideration. All deliberations are kept strictly confidential, and individuals may be re-nominated at any time.
Many of our alumni continue their passion for athletics at the collegiate level, competing in NCAA Division I, II, and III programs. We take great pride in celebrating their achievements. You can explore our Athletes Beyond Greenhill page to see our alumni who have excelled in college sports.
Graduates who have earned a collegiate letter in NCAA-regulated sports are honored in the Tom Perryman Alumni Center, located in the Phillips Family Athletic Center. Alumni, if your name should be added to a list, please fill out our form.
