Hornets Finish Third in SPC Championship

The Greenhill boys basketball team entered the SPC Championship as the #4 seed, placing them against a very tough #5 seed Kinkaid School. The Hornets delivered a strong performance from start to finish. After jumping out to an early lead, they held firm down the stretch to secure a 62-58 win.

They faced the #1 seed Houston Christian in the semifinals and came out strong, holding the lead through much of the first half. In the second half, Houston Christian’s depth proved difficult to overcome, and the boys fell 58-50.

Playing for third, the team embraced their rematch with St. Mark’s School of Texas, determined to avenge an earlier loss this season. They seized control early and maintained the lead throughout, earning a 73-65 win and capturing third place in the tournament.

They finished the season 25-10 and 9-2 against SPC opponents. Congratulations on an impressive season!
