Middle School JCL Students Earn State Trophy

Congratulations to the Middle School students who won ribbons and earned the first-place trophy at the TSJCL State Convention.

Greenhill’s JCLers in grades 6-8 traveled to Helotes, Texas, to compete in the TSJCL State Convention on April 17-18. After the two days of competition, Greenhill captured the first-place trophy – again!

Many students also earned ribbons in various areas (full list below). Twenty-three of the students are headed to Nationals at the University of Indiana, Bloomington, in late July.

Aarna Gandhi ’31 and Vikram Thoduguli ’31 were asked to play on the Novice Certamen team with Trinity Valley’s JCL, and the combined team won 3rd place.

Area Convention

On February 21, Greenhill’s JCLers competed at the TSJCL Area C Convention at Fort Worth Country Day School. These students dedicated themselves from September through February, preparing for academic tests and oral performances, as well as creating entries for the various art contests.
