Welcome to Upper School
Preparing for the School Year
| DUE APRIL 21: Student Academic Questionnaire |
|---|
|
All incoming students need to complete the Student Academic Questionnaire. This will help our team prepare the appropriate placement exams for Saturday, May 2. Generally, these tests will take about 60 minutes each for math and language, and again, there is no preparation necessary! |
| DUE MAY 1: MyGreenhill Portal Tasks |
|
Please login to the MyGreenhill portal to complete the following tasks: 1. Enter your student's Emergency Contact Information in their MyGreenhill profile on the Contact Card. Please note that you will have to complete this step for every new Greenhill student in a family. Due May 1. |
| DUE JUNE 1: Health Forms |
|
Please help us provide the best care possible for your students by submitting your health information on time. Student Health & Medical Eligibility Form: The physical examination must be completed by a physician and uploaded to MyGreenhill. |
| May 2: Upper School New Family Orientation, Placement Testing, and Lunch |
|
Join us for an informative and productive day from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm to learn more about the Upper School curriculum, student life, the scheduling process for next year, and much more! Students and parents/guardians will attend information sessions and meet other new Upper School families, members of the faculty, and members of our advising teams. Students will also take their placement tests, the first step in the scheduling process. This event is for newly accepted students and their parents/guardians. |
| May Practices for Fall Sports |
|
Upper School student-athletes interested in participating in a fall sport are highly encouraged to attend the May practices listed below. Practices will be held on Brinkmann Field (football), in the Phillips Family Gymnasium (volleyball), and on Maalouf Field (field hockey). Cross country will meet at the Tom Perryman Alumni Center (TPAC) steps. View our campus map here.
If you have any questions, please email Jarrett Shine, Head of Athletics and Physical Education. |

| Technology |
|
At Greenhill, we have a 1:1 device program for students in prekindergarten through twelfth grade. Fifth through twelfth grades are issued a laptop to use throughout the school year. Students are expected to use their Greenhill-issued device for all their Greenhill work. Because we want to ensure the devices our students use support learning in the classroom, the cost of classroom technology is incorporated into tuition. |
